Grace works as a clerk in a school library. When she married Jay, who is a seaman, people ask her why the need for her to work when her husband earns more than enough to sustain their family's needs. Grace does not deny the fact that there are times when she is tempted to resign from her job. Sometimes she feels like focusing all her time and attention to her little girl, Keisha. But always, after careful thinking, she decides to stay on her job. She figured that aside from the regular salary that she gets, working in the office on school days keeps her sane. She assures her husband that she is not overworking. As a matter of fact, she finds her job quite easy to do. To check isbn of books is not so hard anyway. Grace considers herself lucky because even if she knows that Jay would rather have her full time at home, he still respects her decision in the end. Grace shows her gratitude by making sure that her responsibilities at home are not sacrificed all the time. |
